Trash and Clash-Childhood by Comickpro Trash and Clash-Childhood by Comickpro
The 2nd piece I did for the Annual Children's Illustration Exhibition in Hayward California. Since nobody was going to know who Trash and Clash were, I went for pieces that introduce them to the viewers for the first time. In this piece, I redid an old comic story...the origin of Trash's name (which you might well know this comic was the plot of their first and only flash cartoon from years ago!) comickpro.deviantart.com/art/T… . I hoped that it shed some light on Trash and the start of his anger issues with humans haha. Again this was a new piece to experiment with because the comic was done on a piece of paper 16x20! huge...also the paper didn't like inking brushes much since it was so textured and not easy to glide the lines.

You can see both pieces here in their frames:

Haha thanks man :) I like your comics as well! They carry a classic cartoon feel I see in European comics that I love haha

In an alternative and more twisted universe...

Trash and Clash would be a pretty good kid's cartoon series, lol.

Lol, same here, I used to love watching Watership Down (the movie version, not the series) which caused me to start drawing rabbits killing each other. Later I read a sonic comic with fleetway super sonic which made draw stories about demonic possession, and then at some point I drew some horrific transformations, unfortunately I have lost those pictures and they have most likely went into the bin because I remember thinking that they were embarrassing pictures. Lolz

Yeah, maybe there is some secret kids channel that is really violent and gory that only kids can be able to watch when parents aren't looking. Kids are always up to no good these days so they have to get their inspiration from something. lol
