Sin Laughing

A commission painting for Jay-lel He requested a pic of Sin laughing manically So I painted Sin lounging on a pile of human skulls surrounded in flames while laughing and enjoying the death he caused. haha On a side note this was the first time I decided to try a new red acrylic called Pyrrole red...and its an amazing tone! It really hit a nice pop in the flames and when blending it with Paynes Grey blue created this rich BLOOD tone around the edges. Needless to say i was very happy with the paint and now Pyrrole will be a regular in my collection next to Alizarin crimson and Napthol red. I also felt that since the scene was warmer in nature I added Raw Umber brown to the bones instead of my ususal picks like blues or grey tones...and i kinda liked it! The brown hints gave them a more natural "boney" hue. Anyways hope you liked it Jay-Lel!
