Have you ever seen any of Jhonen Vasquez' work? Like Invader Zim or JtHM or the music videos he made? Because I don't know if it's just the darkness of your work or what, but it really reminds me of his stuff.

Haha yeah I hear that from time to time and at first I was like "What!? I don’t draw in that anime chibi crap style he does and the fact that it’s all so angular and thick lined!"... but then I realized that people weren’t comparing my actual art technique since mine is more cartoony and the lines are faint and flowy, it was probably more just because he's the MOST popular and well known artist out there with any kind of "dark comedy" work, so it’s the 1st thing people associate or compare to my own work (not to mention I see he has a HUGE fan base here on Da so its like all they know) so now I just go MEH. But truth is I was totally influenced by Max Fleischer, Jeff Smith, Stephen Gammell, Robert Crumb, and Steve Purcell. Look up these guys and their art! because they have been my mentors for years and the more my art can grown into those kind of directions the better :) Thanks again!

wow, a very detailed and kinda sad story to idolatry. It's a good thing i still worship the cows; we have full farm of them :XD: But am very interested to see what sin truly looked it ^^
